- He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
- For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - He keepeth the paths of judgment,

and to the remembrance of thee. - If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
