- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
- And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
- Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
- Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
- He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
- Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot hath held his steps,
his way have I kept, and not declined. - Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
- I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in right paths. - The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. - Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
- Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
- For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - He keepeth the paths of judgment,
and preserveth the way of his saints. - Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
- If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.Next verse!With image
