- Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
- Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in right paths. - We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
- Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
- For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
- But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot hath held his steps,
his way have I kept, and not declined. - The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
- Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
- Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - He keepeth the paths of judgment,
and preserveth the way of his saints. - For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
- If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
- Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
- Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.Next verse!With image
