- Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
- Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
- I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in right paths. - We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot hath held his steps,
his way have I kept, and not declined. - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
- The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
- Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
- Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - He keepeth the paths of judgment,
and preserveth the way of his saints. - For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
- All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
- Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death.And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.Next verse!With image
