Chinese (traditional)- Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Since thou wast precious in my sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. - In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
- For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
- A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
- Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
- I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
- Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
- The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. - For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.Next verse!With image
