- But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
- Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
- And the people said unto Joshua, The Lord our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
- And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
- Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
- Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
- I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
- Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.

- I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
- This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. - Put away from thee a froward mouth,
and perverse lips put far from thee. - The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
- Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile. - But let judgment run down as waters,
and righteousness as a mighty stream. - The hand of the diligent shall bear rule:
but the slothful shall be under tribute. - Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,
and the man that getteth understanding. - Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein. - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
- Only by pride cometh contention:
but with the well advised is wisdom. - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- The ransom of a man's life are his riches:
but the poor heareth not rebuke. - Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
- Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
- And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
- Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
- He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:
but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. - And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. - Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
- A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. - The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. - I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
- A talebearer revealeth secrets:
but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. - And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. - If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
- He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life:
but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. - So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
