- Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
- But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
- Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
- For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
- Judge not, that ye be not judged.
- For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
- Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
- Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
- Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- Thou art all fair, my love;
there is no spot in thee. - The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
- The rich ruleth over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender. - Give us this day our daily bread.
- Excellent speech becometh not a fool:
much less do lying lips a prince. - The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
- Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. - And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
- The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding. - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
- For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
- Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
- If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
- If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:
but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
- He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
- Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
- To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life.
- And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
- Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. - Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts:
all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.Next verse!With image
