- Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
- And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
- For with much wisdom comes much sorrow;
the more knowledge, the more grief. - Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
- This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
