Bible Verses about 'Cause'
- The lips of a fool cause strife,
and his mouth provokes a flogging. - At dawn let me experience your kindness,
for in you I place my trust.
Show me the path I must walk,
for to you I lift up my soul. - I urge you, brethren, to watch out for those who incite dissensions and obstacles in opposition to the teaching that you have learned. Take care to avoid them.
- Restore us, O Lord of hosts;
let your face shine upon us,

listen to the plea of the orphan
and defend the widow. - Take care, brethren, that none of you will ever have an evil and unbelieving heart that will cause you to forsake the living God.
- May the Lord cause your love to increase and overflow for one another and for everyone else, just as our love does for you.
- Speak out and pronounce righteous judgments;
defend the rights of the wretched and the poor. - I will make them and the region surrounding my hill a blessing, and I will send them rain in due season that will be showers of blessing.
- However, if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you are upright in your dealings with your neighbor; if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, and the widow; if you do not shed innocent blood in this place; and if you do not follow other gods and thereby cause your own destruction, then I will allow you to live in this place, in the land that I gave as a permanent gift to your fathers long ago.

a man shall leave his father and mother
and be joined to his wife,
and the two shall become one flesh. - Therefore, let us cease passing judgment on one another, but rather judge never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

my wrath will not continue forever. - They will never again experience hunger or thirst,
nor will the sun or any scorching heat cause them discomfort.
For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne

He will guide them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. - Grant justice to the weak and the orphan;
defend the rights of the lowly and the poor. - But for that very reason I was treated mercifully, so that in me Jesus Christ might exhibit his inexhaustible patience, making me an example for those who would come to believe in him for eternal life.
- The future bodes well for him
who is generous in helping those in need
and who conducts his affairs with justice. - The father of a good man will rejoice;
he who begets a wise son will delight in him. - But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for I bring you good news of great joy for all the people.”
- That is why you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, and they devote themselves to this service.
- Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
