- When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with the humble is wisdom. - I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - For God alone my soul waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation. - So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
- By insolence comes nothing but strife,
but with those who take advice is wisdom. - For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.

but joy comes with the morning. - Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
- The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
- Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

We bless you from the house of the Lord. - And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
- Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

- So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
- Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit. - Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
- I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
- I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
- Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.
- Heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. - My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - So that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.
- The wise of heart will receive commandments,
but a babbling fool will come to ruin. - For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.
- He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
- And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
- Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
- For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.
- Before destruction a man's heart is haughty,
but humility comes before honor. - The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom,
and humility comes before honor. - A man of many companions may come to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
- Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life;
he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. - And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.
