- And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
- And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
- If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
- For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. - And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
- Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
- But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
- And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring.
- Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.
- How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
- If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
- Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. - Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- Judge not, that ye be not judged.
- If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
- Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
- Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.
- Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
- A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. - For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.
- Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
- But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
- That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
- He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.Next verse!With image
