How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men!
Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.
Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name.
Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!Oh that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children, to those who keep his covenant, to those who remember to obey his precepts.
I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass.I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who will be made as grass?
It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.You shall walk after Yahweh your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him.You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh. For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit.
Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”But Jesus hearing it, answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.”
In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
