Chinese (traditional)- For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
- As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
- My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
- Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
- For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
- Blessed are they that mourn:
for they shall be comforted. - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
- Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
- O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is. - For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
- To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
- For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
- For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.Next verse!With image
