So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.Our God is in heaven; he does whatever he pleases.
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.Hence, be imitators of God, as beloved children.
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.In God alone is my soul at rest; it is from him that my salvation comes.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.God gave the midwives numerous families because they had feared God.
Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.Arise, O Lord! Lift up your hand, O God! Do not forget the afflicted.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.In God alone be at rest, O my soul; it is from him that my hope comes.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.God is our refuge and our strength, a well-proved help in times of trouble.
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.No one has ever seen God. It is the only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, who has made him known.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.Therefore, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God, since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his.
God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.May God continue to bless us and be revered to the ends of the earth.

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.Beloved, since God loved us so much, we should love one another.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.Why are you so disheartened, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? Place your hope in God; for I will once again praise him, my Savior and my God.
For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.For you, O God, have put us to the test; you have purified us as silver is refined.
Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.Now an intermediary is not necessary when there is only one party, and God is one.
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.O God, you are my God, for whom I have been searching earnestly. My soul yearns for you and my body thirsts for you, like the earth when it is parched, arid and without water.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.Let everyone submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which derives from God, and whatever authorities exist have been instituted by God.
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to all those on whom his favor rests.

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.He replied, “What is impossible for men is possible for God.”
