- Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- However, to avoid the temptation to immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.

And besides you there is nothing else I desire on earth. - Never will I forget your commands,

- Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill them.
- I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you already have so that no one may rob you of your crown.
- Do not lie to one another, since you have stripped off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self that is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.
- Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.
- For I will provide the weary with all they need, and I will restore the strength of all those who have grown faint with hunger.
- And yet he is aware of everywhere I go;
if he were to test me, I would emerge like pure gold.
My footsteps have not strayed from the path he established;
I have followed his way and never turned aside. - Father, allow those you have given me
to be with me where I am,
so that they may behold my glory,
which you have bestowed on me
because you loved me
before the foundation of the world. - Until now, in my name,
you have not asked for anything.
Ask and you will receive,
so that your joy may be complete. - So if I, your Lord and Teacher,
have washed your feet,
you also should wash one another’s feet. - For God would not be so unjust as to ignore your work and the love that you have shown for his name by the services you have rendered to the saints and still continue to render.
- I give you a new commandment:
love one another.
Just as I have loved you,
so you should also love one another. - If in speaking I use human tongues
and angelic as well,
but do not have love,
I am nothing more than a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. - If I give away everything to feed the poor
and hand over my body to be burned,
but do not have love,
I achieve nothing. - So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
- Nothing gives me greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
