So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off.Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.

Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God.Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.
