By obeying your word. - Can anyone object to their being baptized, now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?
- What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
- Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!
And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. - You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.
- The human heart is the most deceitful of all things,
and desperately wicked.
Who really knows how bad it is?
But I, the Lord, search all hearts
and examine secret motives.
I give all people their due rewards,
according to what their actions deserve. - Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”
