  • How very good and pleasant it is
    when kindred live together in unity!
  • This is the day that the Lord has made;
    let us rejoice and be glad in it.
  • For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.”
  • Then he took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

  • Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
    and those who love it will eat its fruits.
  • The unfolding of your words gives light;
    it imparts understanding to the simple.
  • God is not a human being, that he should lie,
    or a mortal, that he should change his mind.
    Has he promised, and will he not do it?
    Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
  • The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
    the righteous run into it and are safe.
