- Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
- On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”
- The Lord has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad. - He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber. - Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
- Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
- Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
- Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
- Do everything in love.
- Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life. - Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
- My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart. - Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
- Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
- Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
- Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man. - Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
- Be strong and take heart,
all you who hope in the Lord. - Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
- Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
- Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
- But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
- Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants. - For, “Whoever would love life
and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech.
They must turn from evil and do good;
they must seek peace and pursue it.”
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
