Chinese (traditional)- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
- For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
- And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
- Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- But the mercy of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them. - Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
- Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
- God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God.
I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart.That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.Next verse!With image
