- Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
- And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious;
but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
- Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts:
all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
- Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
- Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.
- And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
- After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. - But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. - For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
- And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
- Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
- For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
- When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding:
but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.Next verse!With image
