Bible Verses about 'Low'
- Pride brings a person low,
but the lowly in spirit gain honor. - The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts. - Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
- Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower.

See, your king comes to you,
righteous and victorious,
lowly and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.
- Defend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
- I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
- Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

as one rejoices in great riches. - For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory. - God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

- “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
- The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
- Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
- Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it. - My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.
- Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
- May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
- They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
- And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
- May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- This, then, is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.’ - The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love. - Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
- To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
- Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
My feet have closely followed his steps;
I have kept to his way without turning aside. - The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!” - When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
- It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise.
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.Next verse!With image
