- A person's pride will bring humiliation,
but one who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor. - The Lord makes poor and makes rich;

on earth as it is in heaven. - Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness?

my whole life long. - The crowds that went ahead of him and that followed were shouting,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest heaven!” - For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps.
- Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding,
but one who has a hasty temper exalts folly. - Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”
