He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh.
For all of us make many mistakes. Anyone who makes no mistakes in speaking is perfect, able to keep the whole body in check with a bridle.For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
It is honorable to refrain from strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.
Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers.Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers.

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous are generous and keep giving.The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously.
All day long the wicked covet, but the righteous give and do not hold back.There are those who covet greedily all day long; but the righteous give and don’t withhold.
With the loyal you show yourself loyal; with the blameless you show yourself blameless.With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect.
They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, my special possession on the day when I act, and I will spare them as parents spare their children who serve them.“They shall be mine,” says Yahweh of Armies, “my own possession in the day that I make. I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.”
Some friends play at friendship but a true friend sticks closer than one's nearest kin.A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

With their mouths the godless would destroy their neighbors, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.With his mouth the godless man destroys his neighbor, but the righteous will be delivered through knowledge.
Because no prophecy ever came by human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
