- But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

- Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid. - Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.
- Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.
- Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

- Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.
- The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.
