He must become greater; I must become less.He must increase, but I must decrease.
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.Nevertheless, as for you individually, each husband is to love his own wife the same as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.
So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.For this reason you must be ready as well; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead.
For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.”For, “The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. He must turn away from evil and do good; He must seek peace and pursue it.”
Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb also entered then, and he saw and believed. For they did not yet understand the Scripture, that He must rise from the dead.
The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.The one who eats is not to regard with contempt the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat is not to judge the one who eats, for God has accepted him.
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”And sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.But sexual immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints.
It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.
You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.But as for you, proclaim the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.
If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.A person of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
