Chinese (traditional)- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. - Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
- My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
- Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.
- Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
- Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
- Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - Labour not to be rich:
cease from thine own wisdom. - Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
- But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
- Hast thou not known?
hast thou not heard,
that the everlasting God, the Lord,
the Creator of the ends of the earth,
fainteth not, neither is weary?
there is no searching of his understanding. - Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
- Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
- But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
- These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
- I have set the Lord always before me:
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. - Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
- Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.Next verse! With image
