| And though one might prevail against another, two will withstand one. A threefold cord is not quickly broken. | And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. |
| And do not bring us to the time of trial, but rescue us from the evil one. | And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. |
