Bible Verses about 'Scripture o'
- For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
- But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
- Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
- Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
- I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
- But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let thy glory be above all the earth. - Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens:
and thy glory above all the earth. - Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. - Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - Deliver my soul, O Lord,
from lying lips,
and from a deceitful tongue. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God? - But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice:
let thine ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts,
cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. - Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - For there is not a word in my tongue,
but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. - Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever;
thy throne from generation to generation. - Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
- Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. - Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy name:
and deliver us, and purge away our sins,
for thy name's sake. - The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. - I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people:
and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afar off. - My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
