Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Surely'
- But surely, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - Surely the Lord God does nothing,
without revealing his secret
to his servants the prophets. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long. - Surely he has borne our infirmities
and carried our diseases;
yet we accounted him stricken,
struck down by God, and afflicted. - The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - But if the wicked turn away from all their sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is lawful and right, they shall surely live; they shall not die.
- For the righteous will never be moved;
they will be remembered forever. - You shall not abuse any widow or orphan. If you do abuse them, when they cry out to me, I will surely heed their cry; my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children orphans.
- The vine withers,
the fig tree droops.
Pomegranate, palm, and apple—
all the trees of the field are dried up;
surely, joy withers away
among the people. - For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.
- For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
- Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever follows perverse ways will be found out. - For it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall give praise to God.” - But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died through the one man's trespass, much more surely have the grace of God and the free gift in the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded for the many.
- The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do this.
- Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.
- For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover them with favor as with a shield. - And steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord.
For you repay to all
according to their work. - Give heed to my reproof;
I will pour out my thoughts to you;
I will make my words known to you. - From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this ought not to be so.
- When your eyes light upon it, it is gone;
for suddenly it takes wings to itself,
flying like an eagle toward heaven. - Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
- You shall not hate in your heart anyone of your kin; you shall reprove your neighbor, or you will incur guilt yourself. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage bed be kept undefiled; for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; God has made the one as well as the other, so that mortals may not find out anything that will come after them.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.Next verse!With image
