- And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

- So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.
- But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
- And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
- Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
as you have said. - It is a snare to say rashly, “It is holy,”
and to reflect only after making vows. - Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident. - Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
- And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.”
- But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.
- And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
- And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
- So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.”
- And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” - Keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from speaking deceit. - And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
