- Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:
if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. - And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself.
- I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

the Creator of the ends of the earth,
fainteth not, neither is weary?
there is no searching of his understanding. - Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
- My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee;
and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. - There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
- Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip. - And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
- And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise. - Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well. - I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers,
who hast given me wisdom and might,
and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee:
for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. - For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.
