- God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. - And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom. - As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
- Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
- Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
- He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
- And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.
- For the Lord is our Judge,
The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us. - Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
- Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us.
- As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us. - But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning.
- And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
- But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
- Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
- For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
- And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
- For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
