- Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive

Salvation comes from the Lord. - Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- When the command is given, at the sound of the archangel’s voice and the call of God’s trumpet, the Lord himself will descend from heaven, and those who have died in Christ will be the first to rise. Then those of us who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them on clouds in the air to meet the Lord. And so, we will be with the Lord forever.
- Hence, be imitators of God, as beloved children.
- I lifted up my voice in prayer to him;
his praise was on my tongue. - And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne:
“Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind;
he will dwell with them.
They will be his people,
and he will be their God,

He will wipe every tear from their eyes,
and there will no longer be death.
Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain,
for the old order has passed away.” - After John had baptized all the people, and while Jesus was engaged in prayer after also having been baptized, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.”

to believe in the one whom he has sent.” - The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God.
- And take the helmet of salvation as well as the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Every word of God has proved to be true;
he is a shield to those who trust in him. - Therefore, accept one another for the glory of God, just as Christ has accepted you.
- God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.
- Who indeed conquers the world
except the one who believes
that Jesus is the Son of God? - Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”
- May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ.
- And every tongue should proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
Jesus Christ is Lord. - Put on the armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the deceit of the devil.
- You need to be steadfast if you want to do the will of God and receive what he has promised.
- In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.
- And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God who has marked you with his seal for the day of redemption.
- If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.
- For everyone born of God
conquers the world.
And the victory that conquers the world
is our faith. - You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.
