Bible Verses about 'What'

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.
No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me?
Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life?
What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
Then what will you think if you see the Son of Man ascend to heaven again? Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?
I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid; what can flesh do to me?
So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
“Abba, Father,” he cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
The lips of the godly speak helpful words, but the mouth of the wicked speaks perverse words. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.
So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing.Do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with him.
Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness?
Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! What then? Should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots to divide his clothing.
He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.I am coming soon; hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded. To you, O God of my ancestors, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and power, and have now revealed to me what we asked of you, for you have revealed to us what the king ordered.
But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil. But test everything; hold fast to what is good; abstain from every form of evil.
And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much!If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him”
