- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. - For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
- The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.
- Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
- But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
- Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- For with God nothing shall be impossible.
- For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. - And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
- And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
- The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. - But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. - And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
- For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
- If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
- Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
- He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
