- In those days when you pray, I will listen.
- I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing.
- The Lord your God will bless you as he has promised. You will lend money to many nations but will never need to borrow. You will rule many nations, but they will not rule over you.
- Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.
- If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.
- For the word of God will never fail.
- The generous will prosper;
those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. - But I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise,
and I will fulfill all my vows.
For my salvation comes from the Lord alone. - The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.”
- Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.
- Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.
- In this way, I will show my greatness and holiness, and I will make myself known to all the nations of the world. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- He will judge everyone according to what they have done.
- The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with him! Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you.
- And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped.
- The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all.
- Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. - But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.
- Be still, and know that I am God!
I will be honored by every nation.
I will be honored throughout the world. - But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.
- Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
- If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.
- In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. - Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
- All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).
