Bible Verses about 'You are a good person'
- Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. Thus, God proved his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.

you are my glory and the one who raises my head high. - Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with a joy that is indescribable and glorious. For you are achieving the goal of your faith, that is, the salvation of your souls.
- For you are aware that you were ransomed from your futile way of life inherited from your ancestors not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
- And now, brethren, I want to remind you of the gospel I proclaimed to you, which you received and in which you stand firm. Through it you are also being saved, provided that you are holding fast to what I proclaimed to you. If not, then you have believed in vain.
- Behold, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with that person and that person with me.
- And so does kindness, O Lord.
You reward each person
in accordance with his deeds. - Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A person will reap only what he sows.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - Flee from sexual immorality! Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but the fornicator sins against his own body.
- Then he went on, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For from within, from the human heart, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, malice, deceit, indecency, envy, slander, arrogance, and folly. All these evils come from within, and they defile a person.”
- A good man produces good from the store of goodness in his heart, whereas an evil man produces evil from the store of evil within him. For the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart.
- He said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not realize that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, since it enters not into the heart but into the stomach and is discharged into the sewer?” Thus, he pronounced all foods clean.
- Now who is going to harm you if you are eager to do what is right?
- But the one who did not know those wishes, and who acted in such a manner as to deserve a beating, will be beaten less severely. Much will be demanded of a person to whom much has been given, and even more will be asked of a person to whom more has been entrusted.
- Each person should give as much as he has decided in his heart, not with reluctance or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
- And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do as much.
- No trial has confronted you except what a person can stand. God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tried beyond your strength. But together with the trial he will also provide a way out and the strength to bear it.
- Blessed is the person who has found wisdom,
the one who has gained understanding. - O Lord, you are kind and forgiving,
filled with kindness for all who cry to you. - One person may consider one day to be more sacred than another, while another may judge all days to be alike. Let everyone be convinced in his own beliefs.
- I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd
lays down his life for the sheep. - For we are God’s coworkers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
- How much more valuable a man is than a sheep! Therefore, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your gracious Spirit lead me
along a level path. - I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.

that you are my disciples:
if you love one another. - God abides in anyone who acknowledges
that Jesus is the Son of God,
and that person abides in God. - Do not let anyone lead you astray. “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
- Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- A man’s attraction is his kindness;
it is far better to be poor than to be a liar. - You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, what can be done to make it salty once again? It is no longer good for anything, and thus it is cast out and trampled underfoot.
