- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

- Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
- I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
- A froward man soweth strife:
and a whisperer separateth chief friends. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
- Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

- The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
