- For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.
- A faithful witness does not lie,
but a false witness breathes out lies. - You shall not make gods of silver alongside me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
