- When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place. - The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters. - Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me. - For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

- You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
- If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
- The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

and receive favor from the Lord. - I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ - When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.
Let your face shine on your servant;
save me in your unfailing love.Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.
