- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. - And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
- By insolence comes nothing but strife,
but with those who take advice is wisdom. - Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord! - You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
- As he came from his mother's womb he shall go again, naked as he came, and shall take nothing for his toil that he may carry away in his hand.
- I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
- Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! - And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
- Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
- Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
- But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps;
I have kept his way and have not turned aside. - You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
- Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.
- Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.
- But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.”
- This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. - The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. - This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. - I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. Though you have not seen him, you love him.
