- There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. - O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. - And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
- But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
- Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them. - For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. - Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
- Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge,
But he who hates correction is stupid. - For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
- But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases. - Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.
