Chinese (traditional)In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I am not afraid;
what can flesh do to me? When I am afraid,
I put my trust in you. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation, who consoles us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God. If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. For God is not unjust; he will not overlook your work and the love that you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father's hand. The Father and I are one. But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!” May he grant you your heart's desire,
and fulfill all your plans. And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone. But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace. Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor. You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger. Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Just as you do not know how the breath comes to the bones in the mother's womb, so you do not know the work of God, who makes everything. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you. If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one. Because you are precious in my sight,
and honored, and I love you,
I give people in return for you,
nations in exchange for your life. The Lord, your God, is in your midst,
a warrior who gives victory;
he will rejoice over you with gladness,
he will renew you in his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall be successful. But Jesus has now obtained a more excellent ministry, and to that degree he is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted through better promises. Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us. For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will save it. For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.Next verse!With image
