Chinese (traditional)I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
but every fool will be meddling. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. When pride cometh, then cometh shame:
but with the lowly is wisdom. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. A fool's lips enter into contention,
and his mouth calleth for strokes. A man's gift maketh room for him,
and bringeth him before great men. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling. And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Only by pride cometh contention:
but with the well advised is wisdom. Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.Next verse!With image
