Chinese (traditional)You know what I long for, Lord;
you hear my every sigh. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you. Show me the right path, O Lord;
point out the road for me to follow. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. A person without self-control
is like a city with broken-down walls. If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. Not to us, O Lord, not to us,
but to your name goes all the glory
for your unfailing love and faithfulness. And every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Work brings profit,
but mere talk leads to poverty! In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God,
and the Word was God. Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them. Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners,
or join in with mockers. O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.” As a face is reflected in water,
so the heart reflects the real person. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.” Arise, O Lord!
Punish the wicked, O God!
Do not ignore the helpless! Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord.
Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in people. Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Deceit fills hearts that are plotting evil;
joy fills hearts that are planning peace!
