Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. He that hath no rule over his own spirit
is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
