Chinese (traditional)And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? Commit your actions to the Lord,
and your plans will succeed. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.” Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take. Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Help us, O God of our salvation!
Help us for the glory of your name.
Save us and forgive our sins
for the honor of your name. Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.” Choose a good reputation over great riches;
being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. How great is the goodness
you have stored up for those who fear you.
You lavish it on those who come to you for protection,
blessing them before the watching world. Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,
but God remains the strength of my heart;
he is mine forever. If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship.
He said,
“I came naked from my mother’s womb,
and I will be naked when I leave.
The Lord gave me what I had,
and the Lord has taken it away.
Praise the name of the Lord!” I have chosen to be faithful;
I have determined to live by your regulations. If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Fearing people is a dangerous trap,
but trusting the Lord means safety. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is beneficial. I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live! People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life,
but those who ignore correction will go astray. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. I have swept away your sins like a cloud.
I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist.
Oh, return to me,
for I have paid the price to set you free. I will exalt you, my God and King,
and praise your name forever and ever. And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.Next verse!With image
