Chinese (traditional)Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather seek to expose them.
For it is shameful even to speak of what deeds people do in secret. God blessed the seventh day and he consecrated it, for on it he rested from all the work he had done when he created all things. The Lord is my shepherd;
there is nothing I shall lack.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me to tranquil streams. The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but worldly cares and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit. But I with hymns of praise
will offer sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will fulfill.
Salvation comes from the Lord. A fool gives free rein to his anger,
but a wise man bides his time and calms it. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. During the day the Lord grants his kindness,
and at night his praise is with me,
a prayer to the living God. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Although we are human beings, we do not engage in battle according to human standards. Blessed is the one whose offense is forgiven,
whose sin is erased. Jesus answered him,
“Whoever loves me will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we will come to him
and make our abode with him.” Come now and let us discuss this,
says the Lord.
Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be like snow.
Though they are as red as crimson,
they shall become as white as wool. Alleluia.
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his precepts. Dear children,
you are from God
and you have conquered them,
for the one who is in you is greater
than the one who is in the world. What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not! When pride is nurtured, disgrace soon follows,
but wisdom is the hallmark of the humble. Beloved,
do not trust every spirit,
but test the spirits
to see whether they are from God.
For many false prophets
have gone out into the world. There is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing secret that will not become known. Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name;
proclaim his deeds among the peoples. Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. As servants of God, behave as free people, but do not use your freedom as a means to cover up wrongdoing. The law of the Lord is perfect,
affording refreshment to the soul.
The decree of the Lord is worthy of trust,
imparting wisdom to the simple. Then Peter came up to him and asked, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy times seven.” Consider the ravens. They do not sow or reap, they have no storehouse or barn, and yet God feeds them. You are of far greater importance than birds. I have instructed you in the ways of wisdom
and led you along the paths of righteousness. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst. When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your wicked ways. I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your precepts. Then he said to them, “Go forth into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.”
