Chinese (traditional)And you will say on that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
invoke his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. For I handed on to you as of primary importance what I received: that Christ died for our sins, in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried and that he was raised to life on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. Only goodness and kindness will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever and ever. But do not ignore this one fact, beloved: with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me. A man is haughty until disaster overtakes him,
but humility comes before honors. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and undefiled is this: to come to the aid of orphans and widows in their hardships and to keep oneself untarnished by the world. His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. Since you have been faithful in small matters, I will give you much greater responsibilities. Come and share your master’s joy.’ May God continue to bless us
and be revered to the ends of the earth. Brethren, if anyone is detected committing a transgression, you who are spiritual must set him right in a spirit of gentleness. Meanwhile, you should take care so that you yourselves are not tempted. So then, faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver.
The Lord is our king;
he is the one who will save us. Then Jesus said to him,
“You have come to believe
because you have seen me.
Blessed are those who have not seen
and yet have come to believe.” For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you but from the gift of God. It does not come from works, so that no one can boast. A man is joyful when he utters apt answers,
and even more satisfying is a word in season. He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.” Ever since the creation of the world the invisible attributes of God’s eternal power and divine nature have been clearly understood and perceived through the things he has made. Therefore, the conduct of these people is inexcusable. Shun evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. I am the vine,
you are the branches.
Whoever abides in me, and I in him,
will bear much fruit.
Apart from me you can do nothing. Let mutual love continue, and do not forget to offer hospitality to strangers, for by doing this some have entertained angels without knowing it. With his mouth the godless man seeks to ruin his neighbor,
but knowledge enables the righteous to be delivered. One who despairs should have the support of his friends
even if he has forsaken the fear of the Almighty. Remember this: if you sow sparingly, you will reap sparingly, and if you sow generously, you will reap generously as well. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry. Every good act of giving and every perfect gift are from above, coming down from the Father of all light. With him there is no alteration or shadow caused by change. Jesus looked at them and said, “For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.” The prudent man perceives danger and seeks shelter,
while the simple continue forward and pay the penalty. Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law. Be on guard against false prophets who come to you disguised in sheep’s clothing, but who inwardly are ravenous wolves. The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is filled with his kindness. Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A person will reap only what he sows. Love is patient;
love is charitable.
Love is not envious;
it does not have an inflated opinion of itself;
it is not filled with its own importance.
Love is never rude;
it does not seek its own advantage.
It is not prone to anger;
neither does it brood over setbacks.Next verse!With image
