Chinese (traditional)If you conquer, you will be clothed like them in white robes, and I will not blot your name out of the book of life; I will confess your name before my Father and before his angels. If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! Pray then in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’ And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. On God rests my deliverance and my honor;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God. And live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinners, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again. The grass withers, the flower fades;
but the word of our God will stand forever. Then Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” Having said this, he breathed his last. And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul. The crowds that went ahead of him and that followed were shouting,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest heaven!” The human mind may devise many plans,
but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect. Go, eat your bread with enjoyment, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has long ago approved what you do. With the Lord on my side I do not fear.
What can mortals do to me? Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way. Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.” How much better to get wisdom than gold!
To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver. No one can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us. Deceit is in the mind of those who plan evil,
but those who counsel peace have joy.
