Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about Encouragement
- But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint. - Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.
- It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
- When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you. - I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation, who consoles us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God.
- Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
- I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
- I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you. - Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord. - And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
- Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.
- I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!
- In all toil there is profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty. - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
- Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I fear no evil;
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff—
they comfort me. - For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure.
- Because you are precious in my sight,
and honored, and I love you,
I give people in return for you,
nations in exchange for your life. - What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
- May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus.
- Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and prosper for us the work of our hands—
O prosper the work of our hands! - Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God's sight. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.
- So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
- Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.
For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.Next verse!With image
