The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God. | The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. |
No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us. | Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. |
God is not human, that he should lie, or the son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act, does he promise and then not fulfill it? | God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? |
God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. | So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. |
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. | Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. |
